Words from Wilderness Walk Participants

The setting is beautiful, the guided experience deepened and expanded time in God’s creation.

I was truly able to experience quiet and stillness in a way that was profoundly restful.

I thought I'd go back to my usual state of being, but I've continued in a "re-set" and still state.

Making it a priority in your schedule!

The walk felt like a reset as far as being present and away from distracting technology.
I felt more connected to God, to the others in our group, to nature, and to my own heart because of this set apart time.

Our walk awakened us to the glory of God at work in creation on a gray January day. Where I expected grayscale in the fog, I found vibrant colors. I expected to be cold, and instead I found the warmth of friendship. I felt myself waking up and coming to life in the company of creation and friends.
